Motivation can be the root of most issues in an organization.
It can also be the root of most individual issues.
In Session Four, we’ll discuss what motivates us toward action and understand how to maximize motivation in our own lives and within organizations we work with.
Through review of Covey’s material and an analysis of organizations who currently lead the way, students will leave with an understanding of what individuals in their organizations need and real methods to push them forward.
The focus of Session Four is, in essence, the reason the Housley Principled Leadership Program exists – our nation is faced with corporate scandals, economic uncertainty, stakeholder scrutiny, and weakening ethical standards. Unprepared and unprincipled leaders have been devastating to our country’s economy, and not all professionals feel young people are going to be any different when they enter the workforce.
Through the HPLP, the Stelos Alliance seeks to change this, preparing students to be ethical and exemplary leaders. We applaud the students who’ve made it with us thus far and look forward to an engaging class tomorrow!
